Historical Chamber Service Information

Confirm the Smoke Chamber Repair Scope

This page retains historical PCCS chamber-service images. PCCS has transitioned to Fort Worth Chimney Sweeps, our family-owned operation serving the area since 1991.

The older page used “purging” as a general cleaning term. Smoke chamber cleaning removes deposits; parging addresses suitable masonry surfaces with refractory material. Ask which procedure your inspection actually recommends.

What is being repaired during parging?

Appropriate gaps, rough corbeling, and deteriorated masonry surfaces may be addressed after evaluation. Parging does not repair every flue, water-entry, or structural problem.

Does this guarantee improved draft?

No. Draft depends on the fireplace, flue, air supply, and other conditions. A chamber repair should be recommended from observed findings.

Where can I review the current procedure?

Visit FWCS smoke chamber parging and share your inspection findings with the office.

For current service, call (817) 205-2072 or request an appointment with FWCS. The office confirms scope, availability, access, and scheduling.
