Custom Chimney Chase Covers — PCCS Archive

Chase-Cover Condition and Current Requests

This PCCS archive preserves examples of damaged chimney chase covers. For current inspection or replacement questions, contact Fort Worth Chimney Sweeps, serving the area since 1991.

Rust, openings, sagging, or water collecting on a cover deserve professional assessment. A photograph alone cannot establish the source of a leak or the condition of the chimney underneath.

What does a chase cover do?

It covers the top of a framed chimney chase around the vent openings. Its design and condition help manage exposure to rain and debris.

Does visible rust always mean replacement?

The condition, material, openings, and installation need assessment. Ask the office about inspection and current replacement options.

What should I provide when requesting help?

Share the property address, the concern, and photographs taken safely from the ground. The office will confirm current availability, materials, and access requirements.

Call (817) 205-2072 or request an appointment with FWCS. Requests require office confirmation.
